weekly blogg :O

Write a Blog post about the Jumping and Platform topic, share your learning experience! Were the instructions clear? Were their any instructions you felt were missing. Were you able to finish the tutorial? Will you use this tutorial in your game? If you will use Jumping and Platforms, please describe how you will use it.

I liked the experience, but I am currently having trouble with my platforms because my man does not stay on other platforms when I jump over on them, even though they have the same name as my bottom platform.I am not going to use jumping in my game, because it is a drag and drop game.

weekly blog :O 2/14 - 2/17

Write a blog about the timer category that we went over on the Globaloria curriculum. Tell me how you would use this in your team game. How could you make the timer go faster? How would you rate this tutorial using a number from 1 to 10; 10 being the best and 1 being the lowest rating. Tell me why you gave it the rate you used.

I am going to use the timer in my Drag and Drop game to count down to determine weather or not the person playing will run out of time and lose. To make the timer go faster you could take off a 0 from 1000. I liked the tutorial a lot better than most, so I probably would rate it an 8. I gave it an 8 because it didn't give you all the code at the end you just had to look at it instead of copying it.

What tricks did you complete in the Custom Cursor category. What type of custom cursor did you make, and how did you like the category?

I Changed the cursor when the player mouses over a button. I made my own cursor and used it.
I liked making custom cursors, because it was easy and simple & the code wasn't hard to comprehend. :)

Write a Blog post about the Preloader and Status Bar categories in the Action Script section of your curriculum. Share your learning experience and respond to one person in your class.

The pre-loader and status bar was cool, but it was weird and it never really worked when I wanted it to, and I got angry a few times >:O , But it ended up working in the end.

weekly blog :P

Since you have started working on your team games, you have completed independent learning, by going to either the Globaloria curriculum or sites on the Internet to help you in developing code for your games. In at least three sentences, tell me where you went to gain additional knowledge, what you learned, and insert in your blog post a link to the site.

Well I have been going to wiki tips an other sites on the wiki to help me with the codes and how to understand it better. I have learned how easy the code is once you get the hang of it,but its confusing sometimes. This is the link I am currently at http://myglife.org/usa/wv/shhswiki/index.php/Adding_Background_Music since I am trying to find music to put on.
